PYD called for unification to stop occupation’s attacks  

The Democratic Union Party held its annual meeting for the party’s members in ed-Dirbasiyah district of and its villages at the Culture and Art Center’s hall in the district.

Dozens of the party’s members in the district attended the meeting, and during the meeting that started with a minute of silence, the member of the Democratic Union Party in ed-Dirbasiyah district Robar Seberty spoke about the latest political developments taking place in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, and said, “This year, we have witnessed attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries of Jabhet al-Nusra and ISIS as they committed massacres against the peoples of the region, and stole the goods of the region before the humanitarian and international organizations.”

Seberty made clear during his speech that the Turkish occupation state, through its attacks, targets the ideology of the democratic nation, on which the people organized themselves, and intends to restore the Ottoman era and occupy the entire region.

Seberty stressed that the peoples of northern and eastern Syria proved to the whole world the extent of their adherence and love to their land through their resistance to the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries’ aircrafts. He added, “In order to hide its internal crisis, Turkey attacked our area and interferes in the region’s affairs.”

Seberty stressed at the end of his speech that they, as the Democratic Union Party, always work for the interest and safety of the people, and he called on the Kurdish parties to unite the Kurdish class, and work for the benefit of the people.

The meeting ended with emphasizing on the necessity of the people standing beside the Autonomous Administration and strengthening the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) by joining them, in addition to the slogans that glorify the sacrifices of the martyrs.
