Çiya Kurd: There is no direct dialogue between AA, regime yet

Yesterday, media outlets published what was known as a Russian road map that included ten basic points to ensure dialogue between the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria and the Syrian regime.

Commenting on what was reported by the media, Hawar obtained a telephone statement from the deputy co-chair of the Executive Council in the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, Badran Çiya Kurd.

Badran Çiya Kurd said at the beginning of his statement, "Since the beginning of the Turkish threats and their attacks on the regions of northern and eastern Syria, Russia has taken upon itself to build and activate dialogue between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the Syrian regime, and Russia is still working in this framework, and accordingly many meetings have taken place between us and Russia. On the one hand, and between Russia and the Syrian regime, on the other hand, many matters were discussed with the two parties."

"Russia's efforts to date continue to build a common ground for reaching a political dialogue between Autonomous Administration and Damascus, and until now these efforts have not reached a desired result to reach a direct political dialogue between us and the Syrian regime." Çiya Kurd added.
