Displaced people demand exit of Turkish occupation

The Turkish aggression and its mercenaries including Jabhet al-Nusra and ISIS on the border areas in northern and eastern Syria have resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians.

According to reports of the Office of Humanitarian Affairs for North and East Syria talking about catastrophic figures for public and humanitarian damage, at least 478 civilians were martyred, 1,070 were injured, and more than 300,000 families were displaced.

As a result of the large number of displaced people from Serekaniye region, Autonomous Administration for northern and eastern Syria in the city of al-Hasakah has allocated more than 64 centers for the displaced, in addition to the Washokani camp, which is located 12 km west of the city center of Hasakah, and inhabited by more than 5,000 displaced.

The displaced people in the camp suffer from difficult living conditions in the light of complete absence of international organizations concerned with humanitarian affairs, Autonomous Administration and the Kurdish Red Crescent teams are guaranteed to provide them with assistance.

"We were displaced from our village due to the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation and the so-called" Syrian National Army, "these mercenaries have destroyed our homes, and they have plundered them," says Taleya Muhammed, displaced from Lailan village.

"Why do they do this to us? We want to expel the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation from our lands so that we can return. We are fine here, they have provided us all the supplies we need," Vanguard added.

For her part, Hasina Al-Muhammad, one of the displaced women from Al-Jarada village located to the west of Serekaniye, says: "After the constant bombing of our village by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, we were forced to leave our village, no one can go to his home with the presence of mercenaries."

Hasina added: "The mercenaries are kidnapping people, insulting women, and booby-trapping civilian homes. They have stolen all our household items."

"The mercenaries completely destroyed the city, we left it out of fear for our lives," Shamsa Al-Hussein, one of the displaced women from Serekaniye, said. "We put here very difficult. We want to return to our homes."
