HRE announced elimination of 2 mercenaries

Afrin Liberation Forces issued on Thursday a statement to the public opinion about the operations carried out against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

During the statement, the forces said that they had targeted a group of Firqet al-Hamzat mercenaries of the occupation, and they also noted that the occupation’s bombardment of a number of villages inflicted damage to the civilians’ possessions.

The statement included:

 “Our forces continue their operations and military campaigns against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin and its surrounding.

On January 1^st at 13:00, our troops implemented an operation against a group of the mercenaries of the so-called “Firqet al-Hamzat” related to the occupation in Basota village in Sherawa district of Afrin canton.

Our forces targeted the group’s elements directly, and that resulted in killing two mercenaries and wounding three others.

On the other hand, the drones continue hovering overhead, especially over Shera district in Afrin canton, while the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeted the villages of Maranaz, Malikiya, Shewargheh and Shewargheh Castle using mortars and obis, which led to inflicting financial losses to the civilians’ properties.”
