Libya threatens Turkey with a harsh response

The spokesman for the Libyan Parliament, Abdullah Bleihaq, revealed during an interview with "Al-Arabiya" that the Libyan army targeted more than once operations rooms belonging to the Turks who supervise the drones and provide logistical support.

Bleiahq said: The head of the Libyan Parliament, Aqeela Saleh, in his meeting with the President of the Cypriot Parliament, confirmed that the Libyan Parliament’s approach to the European Union will be supported by withdrawing support and recognition of Accord government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj.

And Turkish sources revealed that the ruling "Justice and Development" party sent a memo to Parliament, to request a mandate to send troops to Libya.

The sources indicated that Parliament may discuss the memo next Thursday. The move comes after an official request made by the Libyan government of reconciliation for Ankara.

This comes as Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte demanded Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to avoid any military intervention in Libya, considering that this step would spur a military escalation in the region.

The Italian news agency "Ike" reported that a planned meeting will be hosted by the Belgian capital, Brussels, on Monday regarding the Libyan crisis. The agency added that European foreign ministers will attend the meeting to prepare for the visit of the European Union mission to Libya.

The fighting continues on the outskirts of the Libyan capital Tripoli, between the national army and Accord government, after the army approached the neighborhoods of the capital significantly, with reports of the arrival of mercenaries of the Turkish army to Libya.
