As a result of the Turkish aggression and its mercenaries on Serêkaniyê area and its countryside, thousands of families have been forcibly displaced, hundreds of people have lost their lives, where Autonomous Administration has allocated more than 64 centers to accommodate the displaced, as well as established Washokani camp, which is located 12 km west of the city of al-Hasakah.

Many families go to the camp almost daily, as the number of the displaced in the camp on the 21st of December reached 5,000.

In this context, new batches arrived during the past two days, reaching the number of displaced people in the camp to more than 5,700 displaced people from various regions, which are witnessing clashes.

The administrator in Washokani camp, Hassan Ahmad Yusef, explained that the number of displaced people is increasing day by day, as the displaced live a tragic life in the camp, and their suffering will increase as winter season will come due to the absence of international organizations.

Despite the tragic life and the difficult conditions in which the displaced live, the international and relief organizations neglect to provide humanitarian aid to them, and the entire burden on AA and the Kurdish Red Crescent.
