PYD: Merry Christmas is an occasion to renew covenant of brotherhood, peace

The General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) congratulated the Christians and components of NE, Syria, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, noting that all components of the region share joys and sorrows, in the cohesion in the atmosphere of a third world war, hoping that 2020 will be a year to get rid of terrorism and its makers its sponsors.

On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a public opinion statement today, congratulating Christians on Christmas, and congratulating all components of NE, Syria on the occasion of the new year 2020.

The text of the statement read:

"These days, Christmas and New Year, are passing through us, which are moments that push mankind to review what has been achieved, renew its demand for universal brotherhood among all and spread peace and harmony throughout the world.

Despite our regions being subjected to a brutal invasion by the dark forces led by Turkish fascism, we see that the unity of our row and the blood of our martyrs, and our steadfastness in a single trench, Christians, Muslims, Yazidis and Alawites, to defend our dignity and human values ​​in line with the meanings of Christmas, will guarantee victory for the components of NE, Syria on the enemies of humanity.

 It suffices that we share our joys and sorrows, and share a loaf of bread in a coherence in the atmosphere of World War III.

We at the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) congratulate our Christian brothers for the glorious birthday, as well as all components of NE, Syria for the new year, and we hope that 2020 will be a year to get rid of terrorism, its amkers and its sponsors, so that we live with humanity in a world of peace, harmony and peoples' fraternity.
