Al-Mismari: Turkey entered into a public war against Libyans, its expansion threatens other countries

Al-Mismari said during a meeting with Al-Arabiya Channel that shipments of weapons arrived in Misurata, and there is a Turkish ship currently trying to dock in the seaport of Al-Khums.

Al-Mismari also stressed that the crisis is not only Libyan, but rather a regional one, and that the Turkish expansion in Libya will threaten other countries, especially Egypt.

Al-Mismari said that Turkish drone has been downed, which tried to target the national army, and added that there was progress for the national army in the Tripoli hubs, noting air strikes on the locations of the Accord militia in Misrata

The spokesman stressed that the battle of Tripoli, which the army is waging, is not only against the armed militias affiliated with the accord government, but also against its supporters, in reference to Turkey, which recently deployed with all its strength to support the accord forces politically and militarily.

Al-Mismari pointed out that the confrontation with Turkish forces and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is not the result of the battle for Tripoli, which began last April, but rather is the result of years during which Ankara supported the militias with weapons and equipment and facilitated the passage of terrorists into Libya.
