AA: Russian role must be more efficiency, our position on dialogue is consistent 

The Foreign Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria issued today a public opinion statement on the statements of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the seriousness of the AA of the dialogue and its implementation of the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

The text read:

"Since the beginning of the Turkish attack on northern and eastern Syria on October 9 until the moment, the Turkish state has not abided by all the attempts and measures agreed upon, in particular the ceasefire announced by the US Vice President in Turkey on October 17, as well as the Sochi Agreement, which brought together Both the Turkish and Russian President days later.

Under the pretext of the ceasefire and the so-called Safe Zone, there is an unlimited attack on all areas till the moment, including the areas of Tel Tamr, Ain Issa and the international road, resulting in over 350,000 displaced people as well as hundreds of wounded and civilian casualties, not to mention to demographic change operations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has already spoken on November 26 in Moscow that AA is not serious in the dialogue.

The Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria has shown its readiness and seriousness and is still all efforts through which dialogue can be activated in this framework and the SDF committed to the terms of the cease-fire and withdrew from all border areas, as well as the Autonomous Administration and the SDF reached an understanding on some of the items that were agreed, accordingly, the role of the Russian guarantor was accepted, through which it was communicated with Damascus and accepted the deployment of the Syrian Army Border Guard forces within the framework of asserting that the AA always operates within Syrian issue, also, joint Russian-Turkish patrols were accepted under the supervision of the Russian military police, always emphasizing at all stages the need for a solution and the Syrian national dialogue.

What we are seeing now is that the role of the Russian guarantor needs to be more effective and the current role is not commensurate with the reality of the understandings that have been made, so we confirm in the circle of external relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria that we have taken all necessary measures to have a dialogue with Damascus and we are still, we are always ready to do so and have always stressed that we keep working within the Syrian framework as we are Syrian; and that dialogue is important with Damascus, where after we have expressed our positive position, the other party is still not clear and there is "procrastination" and unwillingness in the political dialogue

We are keen on stability and the necessity to stop the Turkish aggression and our readiness lies in that we have not exceeded or circumvented any understandings, and we sought for a serious and frank dialogue and is not subject to any change or American presence on the ground, our position on the dialogue is always consistent, and what is happening in some areas comes in The framework of legitimate defense The fact that Russia is well aware that all the areas targeted today are outside of the understandings made with Turkey. It is better to have an investigation of the reality of what Turkey is doing in all the Syrian regions. Commenting and declaring contrary to the existing positions and reality is a direct support for Ankara and its mercenaries to continue their practices against Syria and its people. "
