Demo in Manbij: We will not allow Turkey to occupy more areas

The demonstration was launched from the entrance of the village to the center at the People's Municipality Center, during which the demonstrators held banners with "Manbij tribes and clans reject the Turkish occupation attacks on the Syrian territories," "We know who killed us … and promised of revenge," "Young women are the icon of revolution and freedom," " Syria is for all Syrians" written on.

The demonstrators also held the flags of the Manbij Military Council, the Women's Council and the Protection and Self-Defense Forces.

In the center of the village, the demonstrators held a minute of silence, and then several speeches delivered, including a speech on behalf of the burning line delivered by the co-chair Dalaa al-Hussein, as she said, "We renew our condemnation of Erdogan and mercenary gangs' attacks against a people created safety, stability and security," and she stressed that Erdogan "does not know that he cannot undermine the will of our people to withstand and fight."

The speech was followed by a speech on behalf of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria by Farouk al-Mashi, who said, "For years, the Syrian people have been suffering under the Turkish occupation and the terrorist organizations, the Turkish occupation has colonial aspirations in our country."

Al-Mashi added, "We will not allow this dream to be achieved until the last drop of blood in our veins. We are peoples who have enjoyed freedom and knew how to protect and defend our land."

Al-Mashi, at the end of his speech, called on the Syrian people to stand together to confront any aggression targeting them.

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Civil Administration in Manbij Mohammed Khair Shekho said, "Thanks to the blood of our martyrs, we stand here today and from this rostrum we say that we will not allow the Turkish occupation to occupy an inch of our land, which was irrigated with the pure blood of the martyrs."

The commander of Manbij Military Council, Mahmoud Ibrahim, also delivered a speech on behalf of the council, "We in Manbij Military Council are ready to repel any aggression targeting the city."

Ibrahim pledged the martyrs to follow in their footsteps, preserve their gains and achieve their goals for which they were martyred.

The demonstration concluded with the participants chanting slogans that glorified the martyrs and saluted the Resistance of Dignity.
