We to return to Afrin in spirit of Newroz

The people of Afrin who forcibly left Afrin because of the Turkish occupation, celebrated Newroz yesterday in al-Shahba canton, during the celebration they showed their steadfastness and promised to continue the struggle till ending the occupation and its mercenaries.

ANHA agency during the Newroz celebration conducted interviews with a number of women from Afrin.

The citizen Sena Berkat said," we receive this national occasion far from our city amid the conspiracies and violations which were committed against our people in occupied Afrin but this doesn't mean that we will surrender to the enemies."

In the same context, the citizen Ghazal Ahmed said that they would continue walking on the path of freedom in the spirit of Newroz which is a day to get rid of the tyranny regimes till liberating Afrin and deter the mercenaries.

Ghazal confirmed that destroying the statue of Kawa ignited the fire of the anger in their hearts and they would not rest till liberating Afrin.

In turn, the mother Fatema Mousa said that targeting the statue of Kawa by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries is an evidence that they want to eliminate the culture and the history of the peoples of the area, she confirmed that they are insisting on building what the occupation has destroyed and they would liberate Afrin.
