Newroz events in al-Shahab initiated

Under the slogan "In the Spirit of Newroz, We Will Break the Isolation and Liberate Afrin," the celebration of Newroz was launched in al-Shahab canton with the participation of thousands of Afrin and al-Shahba residents, including Kurds, Arabs, Turkmens and Armenians in addition to all the civil institutions and parties.

The festival was organized in Allousha village in Ahdath district, where the festival's square was decorated with the pictures of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, the martyrs of the Resistance of the Age, the pictures of Leyla Guven and the hunger strikers, flags of the People's and Women's Protection Units (YPG,YPJ) in addition to the olive branches and writing the name of Afrin with olive branches.

After holding for a minute of silence, the martyrs' families in Afrin and al-Shahab districts flamed Newroz fire, accompanied by the slogans that salute Newroz and the resistance of the people.

The ceremony will continue by listening to the assessment of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan on the importance of this day, and many words will be delivered by the head of the Executive Body of the Syria Democratic Council Ilham Ahmed, and words on behalf of all components, parties. Then, teams of the Culture and Art Body will present many performances.
