Elham Ahemd: Britain is demanded not to ignore Kurds

The head of the Executive Body of the Democratic Syrian Council (SDC), Elham Ahmed, said in her article that she toured the European capitals in the recent period and noticed that the victory of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Daesh was not appreciated as it deserves.

Elham Ahmed asserts that the military campaign against Daesh was cost low for the United States and Europe. As for the Syrian Kurds, Arabs and Christians, the price was high. Many of the Syrian Democratic Forces have scarified their lives in the battles against Daesh, and demanded more support from our allies to prevent dormant cells of the organization spread throughout Syria from renewing their attacks on civilians."

"We face a greater danger than IS organization. It is Turkey which is a member of NATO and possesses mostly European weapons as it is seeking to get the green light from Russia, the United States and Europe to launch an attack to eradicate the democratic institutions that were being established after defeating IS organization."

She called on the British government to motivate the United Nations to include the Kurds in the Geneva talks on Syria's future.

She explained that Britain would provide help to a few people in the Middle East who share the moral and political values ​​of the West.

And added, "Our life style promotes democracy and gender equality, and women in our society were engaged in fighting IS organization, and they are enjoying vast representation in political and governmental institutions."
