2nd Youth Conference will host young people from Mid East, Arab countries

The Middle East Youth Initiative called on Arab, Kurdish, Armenian, Syriac, Persian, Afghan and Turkish youths to participate in the second conference of the youths on the 20th of February in Kobani city.

The youths are finalizing the preparations for the Conference which will be held at the Cultural Center in Kobani under the slogan "With the Youths Leading towards a Pluralistic and Democratic Middle East."

A number of Arab countries are participating in the conference

The preparatory committee said that revolutionary youths from all the countries of the Middle East such as the Palestinian Youth Movement, the Youth of Tunisia, the Lebanese Students Movement, the Iraqi Youth, the Libyan Youth and the Armenian Youth Movement were invited.

The participants are working to put effective plans to stop the crisis in the Middle East region according to the preparatory committee.

The Middle East Youth Initiative includes youth organizations and parties such as the Peoples Union institution, the Democratic Conservative Party, the Arab National Body, the Arab Youth Movement, the Syrian Democratic Council, Youth Associations and the Young Women's Union.

Eva Issa said that the audience would be between 350 and 400 people in the Conference, which will last for three consecutive days.

Kurdistan Region authorities prevent youths from participating

The authorities of southern Kurdistan, "Iraqi Kurdistan Region," prevented 30 young men and women from participating in the conference in a move taken by the government on Monday, which provoked a backlash. The Syrian Youth Movement issued a statement condemning what they considered a dictatorship against the will of the people and youths' unity.

Earlier, ANHA agency monitored the views of the members of the Preparatory Committee in Qamishlo city, in northeastern Syria, and emphasized that the subject of women and abusing her in the countries of the Middle East will be the main topic of the Conference on its first day.
