Women Administration in al-Tabqa opens 2nd course of first aid

The Women's Administration, in cooperation with the Health Committee of al-Tabqa region, opened the second course of first aid in order to enhance the role of women in the society and raise their awareness in medical and health terms.

Six trainees from al-Jerniya town and its villages joined the course. The training will be in the Department of Ambulance in al-Tabqa National Hospital under the supervision of a number of nurses. The trainees will receive theoretical and practical lessons focusing on first aid, treatment of wounds, stopping the bleeding, treating the burns, drawing blood, opening the vein and measuring the pressure.

In this regard, the administrator of the Women's Council of al-Jerniya Huda Assaf al-Mohammad called on all women to participate in such courses because they are important in the service of the family and society, especially in critical cases where first aid saves the lives.

The course is scheduled to last for 7 days at a rate of 4 hours per day.
