The Chinese Embassy in Ankara said on its website:

"After a comprehensive assessment of the current situation, we once again call on Chinese citizens in Turkey and Chinese tourists to Turkey to increase their vigilance and concern for their personal safety and the safety of their property." As Bawabet Al-Ain News reported.

Diplomatic tension between Beijing and Ankara has intensified following Turkey's sharp criticism of Chinese treatment of the Uighur minority and Turkey has seen violent anti-China protests about the Uighurs. Turkish national activists burned a Chinese flag in 2015 before the Chinese embassy in Ankara. A famous Chinese restaurant in Istanbul was also attacked.

Xinjiang, where about 10 million Uighurs live, the majority of them speak Turkish, is attacked by separatists from Uighur.
