Leyla Guven's resistance shook Turkish state's throne

The Co-chair of Democratic Society Conference and the parliamentarian of the People's Democratic party in Colemerg Leyla Guven was arrested by the Turkish state when she rejected Afrin city occupation, since 80 days she has been on a hunger strike denouncing the isolation on the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

After health of the parliamentarian Leyla Guven deteriorated, so 9th High Criminal Court of the Turkish State released her. The member of the Women's Council of the Democratic Union Party in Aleppo Narjs Bakr said Leyla Guven's resistance had forced the Turkish state to liberate her, fearing the reaction of the whole world in case anything happens to her.

The fear and anxiety spread in the AKP policy’s arena through the resistance shown by Leyla Guven which gained solidarity from women around the world.

On the motives of the release of Leyla Guven, Narjis said, "What prompted the issuance of the Turkish court decision to release the parliamentarian, although she did not end the sentence issued during the arrest, is the fear of the Turkish government on what will take place on the public scene inside Turkey and abroad in case anything happens to Leyla."

"The decision of the Turkish court did not stop her strike because the decision to release her was not her demand but demanded to lift of isolation and freedom of the leader, which proves the steadfastness and strength that lies in the personality of women," Narjs said.

Member of the Women's Council for PYD in Aleppo, Narjs Bakr, appealed in conclusion to all human rights organizations to highlight what is happening in Turkish prisons against politicians.
