3 Yazidi women among 150 civilians liberated

On Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated 150 civilians, including 3 Yazidi women from Şengalê, during the final phase of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign.

Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign continues in its last phase to eliminate the last IS' stronghold, where the forces are advancing and liberating hundreds of civilians daily. In this context, the forces were enabled to liberate 150 civilians, including three Yazidis from Şengalê, including a child, after opening a safe passage for them.

ANHA agency correspondents accompanying the campaign reported," the Yazidi women are "Makobla Kheder Bajo, Raniya Jalal, and Buhar Bader" they are from the village of Gundê Zorava and Til Qeseb in Şengalê.

It is noteworthy that during the IS attacks on Şengalê on 3 August, 2014, hundreds of women were kidnapped and taken to occupied areas in Syria and Iraq.

During the liberation campaigns launched by SDF in north and east Syria, dozens of Yazidi women were liberated.
