SDF fighters thwarted IS attack in Deir ez-Zor countryside

The Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) fighters were able to destroy two booby-trapped attack launched against their points of concentration before reaching their points in the villages of al-Bagouz and Marashda.

SDF fighters continue their advance in the center of the villages of al-Bagouz and al-Marashda of Deir ez-Zor countryside as part of the "battle to defeat terrorism".

According to ANHA agency correspondents who follow the campaign, as part of this campaign, reported that the fighters of SDF yesterday destroyed two car bombs that were trying to reach SDF points of concentration in the axes of al-Bagouz and al-Marashda and eliminate the mercenaries who were driving the cars before reaching their goal.

In this context the fighter Jwan Hasakah said, "After we have surrounded mercenaries in the region, mercenaries are trying to block our progress by using car bombs, but we are responding to these attacks,"

He added, "Through our monitoring of the movements of mercenaries, we monitored two car bombs that were trying to reach our points of concentration, and we confronted them with heavy weapons. We managed to eliminate the mercenaries who were driving the cars and to destroy the cars before reaching their goal."
