'Ocalan is fighting for all peoples'

The Turkish occupation continues to impose severe isolation on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and prevents him from meeting his lawyers or conducting new trial sessions. The occupation is trying to break the will of the Kurdish people and thwart the democratic projects emanating from his ideology and philosophy.

In this context, the components of Afrin region considered that with their knowledge of Ocalan's thought, they developed the idea of coexistence and the peoples fraternity among themselves, and applied it.

The citizen Jamil Ghirib of Armenian components said," We were in Afrin as an Armenian component living with the components of Afrin like brothers, we have had love and intimacy ever since our arrival."

Samer al-Azaz, of the Arab component, in al- Shahba canton said that they obtained their rights with the spread of the idea of Ocalan in the region, and added,"  The best solution for living several components in the region with each other is to adopt the democratic nation's ideology that guarantees the rights of all components in terms of culture, language and history, therefore, after defeating IS mercenaries, we call for the arrival of al-Thewar army and Jabeht al-Akrad we organized ourselves and adopted the democratic nation presented by Ocalan, so that everyone here has equal rights and there is no discrimination and racism."

The citizen Yusuf Abdul Aziz, of the Kurdish component said that the isolation aims to prevent the spread of democratic thought, he said, "The capitalist states, through the isolation they impose on Ocalan, aim to prevent the spread of democratic nation-thinking among peoples. They aim to break the will of the people and use them for their own interests, but the leader's thought is an obstacle to their ideology so that the isolation is still ongoing."
