Hassan al-Ahmad: Turkey violates Charter of United Nations

Lawyer Hassan al-Ahmad, said "No country has the right to attack or threaten the sovereignty of another country according to international conventions and laws stressing that Turkey violates the Charter of the United Nations.

Since 2016, the Turkish occupation army has occupied the territory of northern Syria. After Jrablos, al-Bab and Azaz, Afrin canton was occupied and forced hundreds of thousands of Kurds out of their homes. Now the Turkish occupation threatens to occupy northern and eastern Syria.

To highlight the matter from a human rights point of view, ANHA agency met with lawyer Hassan al-Ahmad, who said that Turkey was violating UN covenants.

Al-Ahmad pointed out that Article 2 of the Charter of the United Nations provides for preventing any State from attacking the sovereignty of another State, "As a part of the United Nations, Turkey violates the Charter of the United Nations and the Turkish State cannot attack Syria.

He said that the people of the region can ask for any force they want, reject any force they do not want, and they can file a complaint against threats or attacks.

At the end of his speech, lawyer Hassan al-Ahmad noted that there is no doubt that the Turkish state has ambitions and objectives that it wants to achieve in the region.
