Manbij clans' sheikhs: Whoever living outside Manbij does not represent us

Manbij clans' sheikhs confirmed their rejection of the threats of the Turkish occupation and their standing in the face of the attacks, explaining that those who are living outside Manbij do not represent them.

In response to the propaganda promoted by Turkey that the sheikhs support the occupation of Turkey to the Syrian territories, the sheikhs of Manbij city said that the representatives of the clans in Manbij city are their people inside the city and others only represent themselves, rejecting the Turkish occupation and threats to their city.

Ibrahim al-Shelash, the sheikh of al-Bani Saed said, "Any person who speaks on behalf of Manbij clans outside Manbij represents only himself and does not represent any clan. Clans in Manbij are represented by their people who are inside and those who speak from outside are undesirable."

Al-Shelash called on the clans in Manbij to unify the row and face any aggression threatening the security of Manbij.

Hamid al-Jedan, the sheikh of al-Bubena clan said, "We live in this country with security and stability, and there is nothing else. We live with co-existence with all the components, and we reject any threat that seeks to undermine the security and stability we are living."

For his part, Hamid al-Jedan said that the clans that represent the people and clans' sheikhs of Manbij city are inside the city, and anyone outside the city does not represent them.

At the end of his speech, he addressed a message to those who are living outside Manbij and called for them to return, stressing that the peoples' fraternity that is prevailed in Manbij will be the force to counter the attack on Manbij.
