The speech of Sheikh of al-Akeidat clan, Suleiman al-Khalaf came during an interview with ANHA news agency about Turkish threats to northern and eastern Syria, where he pointed out at the beginning of his speech that they were Syrians regardless of their political affiliations or religious. "

Syria has never been a sponsor of terrorism' '

Suleiman al-Khalaf said ,"the people of Syria are peaceful people and terrorism is sponsored by major countries and regional countries, especially by the countries that contributed to the entry of terrorism into Syria like Turkey, which opened its doors to the foreign mercenaries from across the European countries to enter our country."

'Our children are fighting terrorism '

Suleiman al-Khalaf explained that Turkey supports terrorism and provides protection to Jabhat al-Nasra and added " Turkey facilitated the transit of mercenaries to Syria, but Turkey says it will fight terrorism in the north and east of Syria, our sons, we tell Turkey our sons are not terrorists but fought terrorism. Our sons sacrificed their lives for liberating their country from terrorism."

He added that our areas are the cradle of human civilization, humanity has emerged, and the regional states are the ones who put terrorism in our country and came to fight terrorism to destroy our country.

We will not abandon our land" '

Al-Khalaf stressed that they are steadfast in their land and will not abandon it under any external threats "We have not left our land under any external threat."

He added that these countries will not get their wishes if we unite against any occupation or anything that threatens the security and safety of our country.

He concluded, "I ask my brothers in the northeastern regions of Syria to urge their sons to defend their land the soil of this country and all its components."
