People of Dêrik bid farewell martyrs of freedom

Thousands of people from Dêrik and Girgê Legê area bid farewell the bodies of 2 fighters from the People's Protection Units(YPG) and a Self-Defense fighter to their last resting place at the shrine of Martyr Khabat Dêrik.

The residents of Dêrik and Girgê Legê area gathered in front of the Martyrs' Hospital to participate in the funeral of the martyrs of the People's Protection Units, Mohammad Hanan, the nom de guerre Halim Agirî and Thaer al-Thiab, the nom de guerre Shiyar Çilaxa, and the martyr Hassan al-Mutair from the self-Defense Forces.

Muhiuddin Khirki, on behalf of the People's Protection Units in Dêrik, and Haqi Dormesh, on behalf of the Martyr Kamal Brigade delivered speeches and pledged to follow the path of the martyrs until they realized their dream of liberating northern and eastern Syria of mercenaries and the Turkish occupation.

After the completion of the speeches, the documents of martyrs were read and delivered to their families, and in turn vowed to the families of the martyrs to follow the line of their sons.
