Aleppo People revolted against Turkish threats against North Syria

In protest against the threats of the Turkish state to launch attacks on northern and eastern Syria, hundreds of components of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo demonstrated in the streets  organized by the Democratic Society Movement.

The people gathered in front of the meetings hall in the western section of the neighborhood, carrying flags of the People and Women Protection Units and the flags of the Democratic Society Movement.

Members of the civil institutions, as well as representatives of political parties in the neighborhood also participated in the demonstration.

The demonstration began with chanting the slogans that condemn the Turkish aggression, and toured the streets of the neighborhood towards the eastern part of the neighborhood.

There, the demonstrators held a minute of silence. After which, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement Mohammed Sheikho and the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council Fahema Hammou delivered statements condemning the threats of the Turkish occupier to the security areas in Syria.

The speeches stressed that the people must be ready to stand against the Turkish aggression that aims to complicate the Syrian crisis and create strives among the components of northern and eastern Syria.

The speeches also noted that Erdogan fears about the recent victories achieved thanks to the blood of our martyrs and the will of the fighters on the fronts of the fighting so it is threatening to attack the areas of northern and eastern Syria.
