In conjunction with threats ... 13 political parties ,organizations make important decisions to face the Turkish threats

In conjunction with the Turkish threats to invade northern Syria, today, a number of political parties and organizations operating in the north and east of Syria met at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Relations of the Democratic Society Movement in Qamishlo city to discuss the Turkish threats on northern Syria.

The meeting lasted five continuous hours closed to the media, where the parties and political organizations discussed the Turkish dangers on the northern regions of Syria and ways to face them.

After a wide debate, the political parties and organizations issued a statement to the public and world opinion read by the secretary of the Kurdish leftist party in Syria in Kurdish and Arabic which noted :

"The political parties and forces in northern and eastern Syria met on December 14 to discuss the latest developments in the region in general, and the Turkish threats to the north and east of Syria in particular, and united their vision on the following.

-1 Turkish threats are a declaration of war and part of the ambitions of the Union and Promotion since the beginning of the twentieth century and target all components of the region in order to undermine the will and hit the gains, and the establishment of a new Ottoman.

-2 Turkish threats came as a result of international and regional consensus, both public and private, according to the interests of each side in the long term, which are contrary to the interests of the peoples of the region.

-3 All the components and all the forces in the north and east of Syria, calling for freedom and democracy, are required to meet on strategic programs to confront this aggression.

- 4  Demanding the forces of democracy in the world to address this aggression politically and diplomatically, in addition to providing air protection of the targeted areas, so the parties and political forces decided the following:

1 All parties clarify the reality of the current situation, and appeal to the masses of the people of all components to resist and cling to land and dignity, because the enemy's goal is to empty the areas.

2- Forming a follow-up committee comprising the political forces of all components which aims to :

A- Directing and organizing popular and public activities.

B- Permanent communication with the parties to keep abreast of current and anticipated developments.

C- Conducting an intensive information campaign to expose the facts to the people to face the counter media.

D- Direct and organize the people in order to take self-protection measures.

The signatory parties and forces are:

-National Coordinating - Democratic Change Movement.

-Kurdistan Communist Party.

-Conservative Party.

-Kurdistan Democratic Change Party.

-Union of the Workers of Kurdistan.

-Kurdistan Renewal Movement.

-Kurdish Leftist Party in Syria.

-The Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria.

-Syriac Union Party in Syria.

-Democratic Union Party(PYD).

-Gathering of Kurdish Democrats and Leftists.

-National Kurdish Alliance in Syria.

-Arab National Authority.
