People's Municipality in al-Jaran achieves service projects with its limited capabilities

In spite of the limited capabilities, it has worked to serve the people in the area. The People's Municipality in al-Jaran town affiliated to Girê Spî canton has achieved three projects during the three months, including repairing roads, drinking water networks in addition to rehabilitating the bridges.

The People's Municipality in al-Jaran town in the western countryside of Girê Spî city has been able to serve the citizens in the region by repairing roads, bridges and drinking water network in many of its villages.

The municipality budget 38 million SP for road repair and 9 million and 800 thousand SP for repairing the water networks and general reforms provided by the local administration and the municipalities bodies.

One project that is still in progress is the road rehabilitation project between Al-Jaran village, Bir Arab village and Manji Kui village to Shawik village and from Beer Arab village to Kush Kar village, where the municipality has paved the road.

With regard to the services provided in the field of water networks, the municipality was able to repair the electric panels in the pumps located in the countryside and return them to work with the expansion of the water network in the village of Cree Sur until the drinking water reached the villages of the town, in addition to building a water tank in the village of Banat Ali and repair tank water in the village of Kobrelk.

The municipality also repaired two bridges in the village of Kobrelk and Corek to facilitate the passage of the residents after they were damaged after the flow of the Kara Mug river in the area, where the bridges were demolished, and the interruption of the bridges separated some villages from each other due to the increase of the river after the last heavy rains.
