Every year there are several events and days to be revived in the world. These days, most of them are related to human rights, such as the World Day for the Protection of Child Rights and the World Day combating Violence against Women and International Human Rights Day, which marks on 10 December each year.

The International Day for Human Rights was designated by the United Nations on 10 December 1948 by resolution 217 A, Where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, an important historic document in the history of human rights and drafted by representatives from different legal and cultural backgrounds from all over the world, It has been described as the common standard upon which all peoples and nations should be based. According to the Declaration, for the first time, the basic human rights to be protected worldwide are determined.

However, many countries in the world and signatories to the Declaration never abide by its provisions, especially in previous years ,one such country is the Turkish occupation state, which has become one of the most countries in the world to violate human rights ,Even the signatories to this Declaration are still keeping silent towards the violations committeed by states for the human and human rights ,and yet they are commemorating this day.

Turkey was the country that claimed to be secular before 2014 and which later became Turkey's radical Islamic fundamentalism, Supported all the extremist gangs in Syria, headed by IS'mercenaries , Jabhit al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham to hit any democratic project, Intervened in the Syrian crisis directly after the failure of its mercenaries to achieve their interests and objectives within Syria

Since the announcement of Rojava Revolution on July 19, 2012, Turkey has targeted all the border villages between Bakur Kurdisatn (north Kurdistan),Rojava and North Syria, with all types of heavy and medium weapons,According to statistics conducted by (ANHA) between the period of 1 October 2015 to 1 April 2016 killed more than 382 people on the border by the Turkish occupation army fire in addition to more than 25 cases of raping, and more than a hundred cases of torturing.

On August 24, 2016, Turkey occupied in a sitcom play between it and IS' mercenaries the city of Jarablos ,and then al-Bab and Azaz, , In the midst of systematic international silence, and the Turkish occupation committed the most heinous crimes that amounted to genocide against the people of that area, On 20 January, the Turkish occupation launched an aggression against Afrin canton which is considered one of the most secure and stable areas in Syria.

During the aggression of the Turkish state, which is a signatory to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights issued by the United Nations in Paris in 1948, Have committed heinous crimes against the civilians of Afrin. More than 6 massacres have been committed, in which more than 56 civilians, mostly women and children, have been killed.

According to what was documented within a month of the Turkish aggression on Afrin canton, which used sophisticated heavy weapons such as warplanes, tanks, rocket launchers, cannons and even internationally prohibited weapons, 232 civilians, including 35 children and 29 women were martyred , Another 668 civilians, including 90 children and 100 women, were injured. In February month of the aggression, more than 300 were martyred and more than 1,200 were wounded ,The number rose by 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 March to 550 civilians, including 47 children and 56 women, and more than 1,500 injured. These practices would have been rose to genocide against the humanity .

After entry of the Turkish occupation army to Afrin on March 18, the number doubled to more than three times, but was not documented accurately to prevent the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to enter the media to Afrin canton after the occupation, to prevent exposing the violations of the Turkish occupation army against unarmed civilians.

The city turned into a prison and a cemetery for the people of Afrin. According to the scant information received from Afrin city, the Turkish occupation army since its entry into Afrin has arrested more than 2,800 civilians. The fate of more than 1,000 people remains unknown. More than 119 women were kidnapped.

The violations of the Turkish occupation army did not stop here, but the Turkish language was imposed on the people of Afrin, and the shrines of the Yezidis and Alawites were destroyed, In addition to forcing the Yezidis to pray and convert to Islam forcibly. In addition to settling the families of mercenaries and those who are following Turkey in civilian homes

Here are some articles of the Declaration of Human Rights, including article 2, which provides that "Everyone has the right to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, in particular race, color, gender or language , religion, political and other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status ,Furthermore, no distinction may be made on the basis of the political, legal or international status of the country or territory to which the person belongs whether independent, trusteeship, non-self-governing or subject to any other limitation of sovereignty ""Article 5" No one will be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. "Article 9 states:" No one will be subjected to arbitrary arresting, detention or exile him by force ."

And article 28, which states: "Everyone has the right to a social and international order within which the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration can be fully realized".

One must ask why these items were placed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? Is it ink on paper or is it applied when needed! Or is it applied according to international interests! Or are the Kurds excluded from all international covenants?

As one wonders, are the countries of the world entitled to celebrate this day amidst silence that they have exercised against the violations committed by the Turkish occupation army against the people of Afrin and, in particular, Is Turkey entitled to celebrate this day? Where is the United Nations from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?
