Manbij Administration meeting with residents focus on regional developments

The Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside has organized a public meeting in the village of Jab Hamza, 15 km south of Manbij, to explain the latest political developments on the Syrian arena.

The meeting was attended by dozens of members of the civil and military committees and institutions as well as hundreds of residents of the villages affiliated to the burning line, in addition to the spokesman of Manbij Military Council, Shirfan Darwish, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the administration of Manbij, Nazifa Khalo and a member of the Executive Office of the Future Syria Party, Jihad Hasan.

During the meeting, Jahid Hasan highlighted the developments in the region, pointing to the conflicts of interest between the allied forces in the Middle East. He added "Russia and Iran are different now, and the Syrian regime can not expect one of the two forces to stay at the expense of the other, this is one of the biggest problems in Syria."

He pointed to the issue of Idlib and compare it with other areas of Syria, "such as al-Gouta and Afrin, which were subjected to disasters against humanity and was not a problem for international countries and now contradict itself when talking about Idlib, the countries have warned of disaster, the issue is clear as Turkey threatens the European countries by the mercenaries rallied in Idlib publicly."

On the solution, serious dialogue between all parties is the most appropriate solution.

"The city of Manbij has now become the talk of Syria as a whole, not only in North Syria due to the steps it has taken on all levels, as the people are intensifying with the institutions and joining them until they reach their present situation," Nazifa Khalo said.

She confirmed "The work will continue to reach the best in order to achieve the highest level in servicing Manbij."

In response to questions posed by the audience, the spokesman of Manbij Military Council, Shirfan Darwish, stressed that the protection of Manbij city is a priority of the council, pointing out that the current situation requires the cooperation of the people with Manbij Military Council.

Shirfan Darwish pointed out that Menbij Military Council is fighting in the last pocket against IS mercenaries in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and after the completion of IS war, Manbij Military Council has other tasks required by the stage as they prepare and restructure the forces and train them to be ready to be a shield to protect Manbij.

During the meetings, it is scheduled to hear the residents' questions, as well as to share assessments on political and military developments in the region.
