Nersrin Jafo, a mother of five daughters and a boy at her 41, she mastered sewing by encouragement of her mother after leaving the school, she has learned the basics and details of the profession within two months.

Nesrin has developed her talent in tailoring and she began sewing for the people of the neighborhood and relatives, and mastered the sewing of various folkloric types, children's and cotton clothing.

In the war of Sheikh Maksoud, Nesrin's profession had benefited the people

During the war in the Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood, her machine did not stop working, but it increased its work and helped the residents of the neighborhood who stood under siege and war, they could not secure the clothing of their children. The mothers intended to Nesrin to remodel their clothes for their children at nominal or free prices

She also undertook to sew clothes for the women who worked in the neighborhood kitchen to meet their children’s need for food on the front lines.

Nesrin prepared the artistic bands' costumes in the neighborhood

Nesrin's mastery of sewing Kurdish folk costume and craftsmanship was a good reason to sew the big and small dance troupes to the Culture and Art Center in the neighborhood.

She continued that the days of the war of al-Sheikh Maksoud required a lot of assistance to the residents of the neighborhood so she started to help the people and in her way.
