Invitations to demo in Iraq to protest Iran's interference in government formation

The Iraqi Civil Movement called for mass demonstrations in Baghdad on Thursday, rejecting what they called "Iranian dictates" and its attempt to impose certain figures within the government.

The invitation for moving comes in the protest against what the movement considers as attempts to impose Iranian dictates that are related to the interference in the imposition of certain figures within the government.

The Iraqi Victory Coalition has confirmed that the leader of the Iranian Quds Corps Qasem Sulaimani, visited Baghdad last Tuesday, to put pressure on the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, to appoint the former head of the Popular Crowd, Faleh al-Fayadh as Interior Minister.

The coalition, led by the former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, stressed that the Reform Alliance, refuses to appoint non-independent personalities of the security ministries, rejecting again any foreign interference in the Iraqi decision.

In the same context, the Presidency of the Iraqi Deputies Council announced that the agenda of the session of Parliament scheduled on Thursday is free of the vote on the ministerial assortment.
