Koçer: Syrian-Syrian dialogue would be key to solve Syrian crisis

On the latest developments in the political arena in Syria and the meetings held under the pretext of resolving the crisis in the area, Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Hassen Koçer.

Meetings are held to develop points that contribute to deepening the Syrian crisis

In his address to the meetings held under various names from Geneva, Astana and Sochi, Koçer said that they would not be possible to find the appropriate solutions and put an end to the crimes taking place in the Syrian territory since the participant parties are not concerned with the crisis.

And added, "The international and regional conflicting parties on the Syrian territory seek through these meetings to impose their interests and political and economic requirements indirectly on the Syrian people, and in this way, they manage the crisis and put the points that contribute to deepen and expand it in order to serve their interests."

Meetings that ignore the presence of the components of North Syria would not succeed

During his speech, Koçer stressed that if we look at the reality, and if the countries participating in these meetings seriously want to resolve the Syrian crisis, the components of North Syria would have been summoned to these meetings which are suggested to be held to resolve the Syrian crisis. All the components and spectra of the Syrian people must participate in them.

As long as the Turkish aggression is found on a Syrian territory, there will be no solution

In response to those who claim that the people of the Syrian north and the Kurdish people in particular seek to divide the Syrian territory, he said, "Those who sit in meetings held under the pretext of resolving the Syrian crisis are those who divide Syria and make things in the area worst day by day. A good example is the handover of the Syrian territory to the Turkish occupation; Idlib, Jarabulus and Afrin."

He continued to talk about the Turkish occupation's policy in the Syrian occupied territories in addition to imposing the Turkish language and the demographic change on the people, and referred to the great danger facing the Syrian people in the future if the Turkish aggression remained on the Syrian territory. He said, "As long as the Turkish aggression is existed in a part of the Syrian territory, there will not be a solution."

It is necessary to gather under a Syrian-Syrian dialogue

North Syria's peoples and SDF which are fighting IS' mercenaries have protected the Syrian lands from division and saved the lives of the civilians; otherwise, Syria's situation would have been far worse off than what it is witnessing."

He praised the recent meetings held on North Syrian's territories which take the Syrian-Syrian dialogue as a basis for themselves, and said that these meetings hold all the truth and reality to resolve the Syrian crisis as the Syrians are those who have suffered and faced the difficulties of the crisis, and they are able to resolve it in a democratic and peaceful manner.

The administrator of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Hassen Koçer concluded his speech by appealing to the Syrian people to unite, gather all the components and parts and suggest their problems for solving them to reach radical solutions. He called on the international community, particularly Russia, to reconsider their policies and taking into account the interests of the people.
