On Wednesday morning, when the workshops were continuing to remove rubble from al-Firdous neighborhood in the city of al-Raqqa, a mine exploded with a drilling machinery,The work was stopped, And work has stopped, and the supervisors of the rubble removal process requested the teams to remove the mines

According to information obtained by experts in the mine clearance teams to (ANHA), the cause of the explosion was the pressure on the mine by the drilling machinery,causing its explosion.

The experts pointed out that during the search in the area they found a warehouse belongs to IS mercenaries, which included a number of explosive belts and mines of various sizes and types, indicating that they were able to remove all explosives from the area.

The explosion caused only material damage to the drilling machinery, and has been shown that the place was previously a warehouse used by former IS mercenaries.
