Events of conference "Civil Crisis and the Road to Democratic modernity in Middle East" initiated

After arriving the paticipants to the conference and guests from several Arab countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria, as well as Turkey, Iran and parts of Kurdistan, guests from Europe, political figures and officers of Lebanon to the conference hall, The activities of the conference started with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls , on playing of the Lebanese national anthem

After that, the head of the Syriac Party in Lebanon, Ibrahim Murad, delivered the opening speech welcoming the guests. He stressed that this conference, which gathers together all the components and sects of the peoples of the Middle East with all their affiliations, beliefs, nationalities and religions, is proof that the peoples of the Middle East believe in the principle of justice, peace and fraternity of peoples. He stressed that authoritarian and dictatorial regimes governing the countries and peoples of the Middle East have created divisions between peoples and created wars and disasters..

In his speech, Murad called for restoring the spirit of fraternity and peace among the peoples of the region to reduce the role of repressive regimes. He stressed the need to fight for the liberation of all prisoners of conscience, led by the leader of the democratic nation, Abdullah Ocelan.
