Journalists: Turkish state by targeting journalists aims to obliterate its crimes

The Journalists Leila Abdi and Delal Hawari called on the international organizations, sides concerned with the freedom of the press and journalists to put an end to the violations of the Turkish state towards the journalists and hold it accountable for its crimes against them, and they condemned the kidnapping of journalists in North Syria, and explained that Turkey by targeting the journalists intends to obliterate its crimes against the citizens.

ANHA's correspondent, Gulistan Mohammed and Ibrahim al-Ahmad are unable to work because they were targeted by the snipers of the Turkish occupation army on November 2, while they were following up the situation of the citizens in al-Munbatah neighborhood on the border line of Tel-Abyed / Girê Spî.

The Journalists denounced the international silence over Turkey's targeting of journalists and called on the international community to put pressure on Turkey to stop such violations.

TV Ronahi correspondent Laila Abdi has denounced targeting the Turkish state's journalists Gulistan and Ibrahim while they were covering the crimes of Turkey and its violations against the people in the border area.

Laila called on the international organizations concerned with the press and journalists' rights to put pressure on Turkey to stop its violations.

Laila referred to the series of Turkish violations practiced against the journalists by abducting Turkey's gangs to four journalists working on the site "Arabs 24" on the border of Manbij area, indicating that the Turkish government killed and imprisoned hundreds of journalists who express their opinion.

In a related context, the correspondent of the women's agency in Girê Spî canton Delal Hawari was surprised by the international silence about the Turkish state's violations practiced against the journalists; snipping, kidnapping, imprisoning and many other practices against them.

Delal Hawari denounced the Turkish occupation's targeting to ANHA's correspondents with live bullets and the kidnapping of her comrades on the border of Manbij city by its mercenaries.

Delal stressed that the Turkish occupation aims through these violations against journalists to obliterate its crimes against the citizens in North Syria's area, and not to appear them to public opinion.

Many journalists have been imprisoned in the Turkish prisons to close the mouths that refuse AKP's practices and demand reforms within Turkey. More than 100 media outlets have been closed after the coup d'état against the Justice and Development Government led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2016.
