Women's justic considered basis for bulding free, democratic Syria

The Head of the Executive Body of the Syria Democratic Council SDC pointed to the need to hold a conference on women's justice and the importance of the role of women in this stage in which Syria is going through. She said this step is to protect the rights and fight against all forms of violence against women in Syria.

The second conference of the Women's Justice Council in al-Jazzera region continues at Aram Tikran Hall with word was delivered by Elham Ahmed.

In her speech, Elham Ahmed congratulated the Council on Women's Justice after a great deal of work in the framework of the social justice of the society, especially women in all institutions of autonomous administration, and that what women have done in Rojava and north-east Syria, especially after liberation, is a role model in all parts of the world.

She referred to the role of women after organizing and managing their work intensively and how to transfer their experience in organizing themselves after the injustice we have suffered by armed gangs and IS mercenaries, they wanted to advocating and achieving social justice through their work and out of that era through training and awareness in the social field and participation in all spheres of life .

She stressed that the participants in the conference to show the color of justice and social culture in life, noting that the convening of the conference at this time has an important role, because the stage in the current situation is talking about the new constitution of the country ,It is regrettable, however, that there is no representation of women in the committee and negotiation. In other words, when this process begins, there is not enough role for women, and therefore the laws that are not fair by the regime and the opposition. This has a dangerous situation for women. "In this conference, we should discuss the situation of women in Afrin, what they are exposed to by Turkey 's mercenaries of all kinds of violence, as well as the situation of women in all Syrian regions under the control of the regime of violations and migration suffered by women.

And ended her speech saying "This conference is an important step for women to be independent in their decisions in the field of justice and we are confident of the conference will come out with important decisions that will be of interest to the entire society and reach a stage of awareness to build a free and democratic society on the principles of the democratic nation."
