Executing Sharara is violence against humanity

Two days ago, the Iranian regime executed the Kurdish woman Sharara Alyasi who had been arrested for five years. In this regard, the General Coordination of Kongra Star issued a statement condemning these acts and considering them as violence against humanity.

The text of the statement included,

In light of the crisis witnessed in the Middle East, the struggle of the democratic forces against the tyranny of the ruling regimes, and the struggle of women which reached its peak to achieve their rights and freedom, the Iranian government continues to issue numerous resolutions that violate the international human rights' laws such as the execution of its opponent citizens to its political regime with various charges.

The execution ruling against the Kurdish woman Sharara Alyasi who was arrested five years ago is a violation of the international norms and a violation of women's will to achieve freedom.

We at the General Coordination of Kongra Star condemn and denounce these criminal acts against women and affirm that any execution regardless of its reasons is horrible and a seek to an atrocity, and any aggression or violence against any woman is violence against humanity so we appeal to human rights organizations to do their moral duty towards such practices and to put pressure on the Iranian authorities to back down off their arbitrary decisions.
