Due to Turkish attacks, we forced to stop battle

The Public Relations Office of SDF held a mass meeting on Thursday in al-Mahmudli town north of al-Tabqa.

The meeting, which started with a minute of silence, was attended by the co-chair of the Defense and Self-Protection Committee Mohammad Ali Khaled, the co-chair of the Public Relations Committee of the Civil Administration Tayseer al-Afat and the head of the Future Syria Party, al-Tabqa branch, Muthanna Abdel Karim, in addition to the co-chair of al-Tabqa Civil Council and dozens of residents of al-Mahmudli and its surrounding villages.

The meeting focused on several topics, the most important of which was the ongoing Turkish attacks on the towns and villages of Tel-Abyed and Kobanî. That attacks were the reason behind the temporary suspension of the battle against terrorism launched by SDF to eliminate IS mercenaries in the last pocket in full.

Omid Kabar pointed to the failure of the Turkish policy and continuing attempts to occupy Manbij and it is threatening now through its media outlets and on the tongue of its mercenaries to occupy the eastern regions of the Euphrates in a colonial move to rob the civilians' homes and property and grant them to the mercenaries pulled by Turkey from different parts of Syria as happened in the occupied Afrin and the cities of Jarabulus, al-Bab and others.

For his part, the head of the Future Syria Party, al-Tabqa branch, Muthanna Abdel Karim stressed the need to raise awareness to face the rumors and seditions disseminated by agendas linked to external parties whose aim is to destabilize the security and stability spread by SDF in the cities of North and East Syria.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting is the third of its kind at the level of al-Tabqa after a meeting held in al-Jaraniya north-west of al-Tabqa and another meeting in the village of al-Safsafa eastern of al-Tabqa during the past 7 days, and similar meetings will be held in the coming days.
