Textbooks distributed to al-Tabqa students after 7 years

The Education Committee of the Democratic Civil Administration in al-Tabqa area, in collaboration with UNICEF, has provided more than 71,000 educational copies of the self-education series.

Each copy is consisted of four books; Arabic, English, Math and Science and they are presented to each student according to the co-chair of the school administration in the Education Committee in al-Tabqa Ahmed al-Abbou who added, "The number of students in al-Tabqa area reached about 70,000 among them 25,000 in al-Tabqa city that includes 47 schools out of 210 throughout the region and they are supervised by nearly 2,000 teachers."

The teacher in al-Jahaz Elementary School east of the city Ismail Ali referred to the importance of providing textbooks to develop the level of education and overcome the obstacles that both the teacher and pupil faced in terms of preparation and memorization.

It is worth mentioning that the Education Committee after the opening of the primary and preparatory schools last year has begun this year to allocate schools for the secondary first and second grades in a plan to provide integrated education for the three stages of education.
