Thousands of heaters distributed to Afrin citizens in al-Shahba

Now, thousands of Afrin people are living in four camps in al-Shahba canton whose names are Serdem, Berxwedan, al-Shahba and Afrin, and that after they were obliged to get out of their homes in the result of the Turkish aggression on Afrin and occupying it in March 18, 2018.

By winter, the administrations in the four camps took precautionary measures for the storms that may occur in winter, as they provided the refugees with cement stones and several sacks of cement for each tent for fencing the tents and rehabilitating their ground to be able to resist the floods.

After it has been cold, the administrations in all the camps distributed 2,000 heaters on the people in addition to quantities of fuel oil to each family.

In the context, the administration in Serdem camp Alifa Hannan talked and said that the only side that is providing assistance to the people at the moment is the Autonomous Administration. She added, "Although the Autonomous Administration has limited potentials, it is providing assistance to the people as much as possible."

Alifa pointed out that the climate of al-Shahba canton is cold so we distributed heaters and quantities of fuel oil on all the families existed in the camps.
