Ferhad Shebli: we are confident in youth capabilities

The speech was made by the deputy of the Joint Presidency of the Executive Council of Democratic Autonomous Administration of north and east Syria Ferhad Shebli during a speech at the second conference of Rojava Youth which is held in al-Baladi playground in Rumailan town.

At the beginning of his speech, Ferhad Shebli said: "The first steps of the Syrian revolution were its young spark and today the victory of the peoples of northern and eastern Syria is thanks to the youth and the sacrifices they made. Before the international coalition, the youth were fighting terrorism in Kobanî."

He added , "we must be careful and rely on SDF strength and our people would ensure victory and freedom in northern Syria .

Ferhad Shebli said about the Turkish occupation, "The Turkish occupation which has been trying since the inception of the Kurdish people to fight them, especially after the Kurdish people proved their strength and marched on the principle of the democratic nation and peoples fraternity and joined all components in northern Syria ,so it attacked the peoples of north Syria."

Ferhad Shebli concluded, "the youth have reached a stage where we realized that youth are the ones who liberated the people from ignorance and darkness."
