What violations happened in Afrin during week?

AFRIN

Hawar news agency (ANHA) monitored the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries' violations against Afrin's civilians; the abduction and seizure of the property of the people in addition to the demographic change during this week.

Kidnapping

2,500 persons have been abducted since the occupation of Afrin canton by the Turkish occupation army and its gangs, including more than 850 whose fate is still unknown and 145 women.

ANHA monitored what has happened in Afrin city; kidnapping and killing operations:

6 civilians have been abducted from Badîna village in Mobata district whose names are Hêvîn Mustafa Îbiş, Hussien Mustefa Hiso, Abo Shaban, Hawar Othman Dawood, Khalil Mohammed Cerû, Eynayat Nişet Mustafa Hemîd Sheikhi.

In addition to kidnapping the citizen Abdu Mamo Bashir who is at 35 from the center of Afrin city, Essam Mustafa Khalil from al-Zaydiyah neighborhood and Mohammed Ali Jarto who is at 40 in al-Mahmudiya neighborhood. Azad Tubal who is at 45 was kidnapped from Maersekê village in Shara district and Hamid Etto in return for a ransom.

The citizen Ali Bashir Othman was martyred, his brother Mohammed Othman and their nephew Belo Othman who is at 17 were injured after a mine exploded in Goliyaya Foqani village in Rajo district.

On the other hand, the Turkish occupation army's mercenaries abducted the young man Firas Ahmed Mustafa with his car in the city of Afrin and took him to an unknown destination.

Legitimizing the demographic change

After the settlement of the people of the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Daraa and other Syrian areas in Afrin, following the policy of the demographic change in the region by displacing the indigenous people and settling the families of the mercenaries, the Turkish occupation tries to legitimize the settlement in Afrin.

In this regard, the so-called Local Council which takes orders from the Turkish National Security (MIT), issued a statement this week, announcing the formation of a housing association for the settlers in Afrin to build residential buildings in mountainous area west of Mêremîn village in Shara district of Afrin canton. According to a source, this step comes to legitimize the ongoing demographic change at a rapid pace in Afrin.

The campaign of seizing and looting

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue to seize, loot and steal the people's property, in particular the olive crop, which is considered the most important economic resource for Afrin people. In a move aims at destroying nature, the Turkish occupation is cutting the olive and forest trees.

According to a local source, the mercenaries harvested tens of thousands of trees in the villages of Shara, Bulbul and fields between the village of Naza and the site of Nabi Hori Castle, and the villages of Qizilpaş, Bilê, Alçiya, especially the villages adjacent to Azaz, where the gangs have been brought from Azaz city to harvest the olive crops.

As the mercenaries stole the olive crops of all the trees in the orchards of Amara village in Mobata district and seized about 3,500 olive trees of the villages of Afraz and Golîka Gopik at the district.

The mercenaries also stole the olive crop in the village of Telef, Keferzêta in Janders district and villages of Marata, Coqa and Tor Tewîl belonging to the center of Afrin city.

While the mercenaries have seized the olive trees that belong to the citizen Mustafa Shahin who was martyred at the hands of the mercenaries since months in al-Mahmudiyah neighborhood in Afrin city .

A source said that the mercenaries were roaming among the fields in the village of Berbenê in Rajo district and the villages of Sêwiyê and Heyatê in Mobabta district, and if they see any of the persons harvesting their crop, they seize what they have harvested.
