Hussein Shaiti: SDF aims to liberate Syria from IS, Turkish attacks support of IS

The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Hussein Shaiti said that the Turkish occupation state's attacks on Rojava areas in north and east of Syria come to support IS mercenaries, stressing that they have joined SDF because its sole goal is to clear the Syrian territory of terrorism.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with the commander of SDF Hussein Shaiti as he noted to the role of Turkey which supports IS which breathes its last breath.

Shaiti said at the beginning of his speech that he was referring to the role of the members of his clan in fighting IS mercenaries, and he said, "Al-Shaitat clan has fought IS mercenaries since the beginning of their occupation of Deir ez-Zor. Our clan has received threats from IS after they have received harsh blows at the hands of fighters from our clan. We became the main target of IS mercenaries in Deir ez-Zor, where they have committed a massacre against our clan previously and today, we are participating with SDF in the cleansing of our land from IS and taking revenge to our martyrs."

Shaiti said that there are a large number of members of al-Shaitat clan are existed within SDF to fight IS mercenaries in the last stage to eradicate IS gangs completely. He added, "We, al-Shaitat children, have received threats from IS mercenaries to leave the weapons and do not fight within SDF, but we will continue our march within the ranks of SDF until the liberation of the entire region.

About how to join SDF and the campaign of Deir ez-Zor liberation, the commander Hussein Shaiti said, "At the beginning of the formation of the Syrian Elite Forces, I was working within them. We received promises from Ahmed al-Jerba to launch the campaign to liberate Deir ez-Zor, but no campaign was carried out by them. After Deir-ez-Zor liberation campaign was launched by SDF, we joined SDF because its goal is to liberate the land from IS mercenaries and to fight terrorism in the region in general, and our goal also is the liberation of our land and our people."

It is noteworthy that since October 28, the Turkish occupation army has been bombing the border villages in each of Girê Spî and Kobanî cantons in conjunction with the continuation SDF of the battle to defeat terrorism that aims at liberating Hajin area, the last stronghold of IS mercenaries, east of the Euphrates River.
