Demo in Kobanî, condemned international silence toward Turkish attacks

Thousands of Syrian people demonstrated in al-Qanaya town in east of Euphrates river bank, after the Turkish shelling on the bordering inhabited villages west of Kobanî city. 

Thousands of the town and neighboring villages participated in the demonstration raising Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) flags and banners called to revolt against the Turkish occupation.

The participants in the demonstration marched 4 kilometers on foot until they reached the north of al- Qanaya town, where two speeches were delivered at the end of the demonstration.

Co-chair of TEV-DEM Council in Kobanî, Aisha Effendi, said in her speech, "Again and in the eyes of the countries of the world, Turkey is trying to take revenge for its defeats after the failure of IS and Jabhat al-Nusra mercenaries and others in the occupation of the areas of Syria, but the Turkish army will not be able to enter Kobanî and we would respond to its attacks".

For his part, a member of Public Relations in SDF, Aziz Ahmed, said that the Turkish army sniped  the child Sara, "They targeted the girl Sara. Was the girl threatening Turkish national security by her laugh? But they have to know that our weapon is the  project of the democratic nation and peoples fraternity."

Girê Spî city witnessed hours ago a similar demonstration in response to the components of northern Syria, condemning the Turkish shelling, which affects the homes of civilians on villages and border cities.
