ANHA agency correspondent Ibrahim Al-Ahmad: Turkish occupation snipers targeted us directly

The correspondent of ANHA agency Ibrahim al-Ahmad, who was wounded today with the correspondent Gulistan by the Turkish occupation army, when they were following the situation the occupation army attacks on Girê Spî ,said that the snipers of the Turkish occupation army stationed on the border targeted them directly.

On Friday (November 2), the Turkish occupation army targeted the correspondents of ANHA agency Gulistan Muhammad and Ibrahim Ahmad while covering the violations of the Turkish occupation army and shelling residential neighborhoods in Girê Spî. In the meantime, the snipers of the Turkish occupation army to target them directly, as confirmed by Ibrahim.

Ibrahim who is receiving the treatment said, "In the early morning, we went to al-Munbteh neighborhood in Girê Spî to follow up and cover what happened there last night because of the shelling and shooting that was inflicted on the neighborhood by the occupation army. During the coverage we were targeted by snipers of the Turkish occupation army."

He added "we were targeted by the Turkish occupation army, my friend, Gulistan Mohammed, and 2 fighters from the Self-Defense Duty, and I was shot in the left hand and my friend was wounded in her face."

The medical staff overseeing the health status of ANHA correspondents, said "after targeting of Ibrahim and Gulistan, they were transferred to the hospital of Girê Spî, and we moved them to the clinic of Manbij after providing first aid for her because she was shot in the face and her condition was not stable and Ibrahim was underwent surgery, his situation is stable now."
