Girê Spî people will stand together against Turkish occupation

The people of Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed have expressed their rejection of the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation on the Syrian territory and the attacks on their city on Wednesday saying, "We will join together in the face of the occupation and with our unified will, we will break the Turkish state's ambitions."

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interviews with the people of Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed, monitored the reaction of Tel-Abyed city's street after the Turkish occupation's shelling that resulted in martyring a fighter of the Self-Defense Forces on Sunday evening.

The citizen Michael Mohammed from Girê Spî pointed out that what has happened on Thursday was a criminal act against Girê Spî canton's people as the people of Girê Spî will not stand idly by. We will stand by our forces in the face of the Turkish occupation and will not allow it to enter our land."

Michael confirmed that he would not abandon his territory and would defend it alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against any attack or violations on Tel-Abyed.

In the same context, the citizen Nour Abdu denounced the Turkish occupation's attacks on Girê Spî canton. He said, "We say to the Turkish occupation that we will sacrifice martyrs and we will sacrifice our lives in order not to abandon our land for you."

The citizen Sarkask Owk said, "Our will is stronger than the Turkish policy itself. We, Girê Spî canton's people with all its components, adhere to our cause and the philosophy of the leader, and together, we will stand in front of the Turkish occupation and we will break its policy in Tel-Abyed. We say to Turkey that we will not forget its failed policy against the Armenians in Turkey and we will not allow it to be repeated.
