Opening medical point in Şêrawa villages

The Kurdish Red Crescent has opened a medical point in the villages of Şêrawa district of Bashmara, Gundi Mazin, Kalutah, Burj al-Qas , Zernaet and Meassa to provide treatment for the villagers.

2 Teams rotate to treat patients

Two teams of the medical staff of the Kurdish Red Crescent are on duty at the point to treat the parents. Each team is consisted of four nurses. The point is open for 24 hours and has an ambulance for transferring the patients.

Dozens of people arrive daily at the medical point. Thousands of patients with diseases such as decompression sickness, children diseases and hepatitis have been treated in 1 month.

In this context, the member of the Kurdish Red Crescent Zilan Mohammed spoke to ANHA agency on the opening of a medical point and treating the people.

Zilan said that they opened the point in order to treat and protect the patients from diseases and added, "Because the villages where the residents live need health care and the hospitals are far away from them, we treat many diseases such as diseases of children, women, hepatitis and decompression."

Zilan said at the end of her talk that the point has treated 1,318 cases in one month, and they continue to provide treatment to the people.
