Iron recycling, provides job opportunities with constructional movement

Refining or recycling factory located in the western countryside of al-Raqqa city return to work after it has closed for 5 years due to chaos in al-Raqqa city from looting and destruction of the infrastructure, the factory has come within the framework of the use of the potential and self-experience in the area and revitalization of iron.

The factory works by contracting with the public finance in al-Raqqa city. The finance works to collect iron from the public utilities which were completely destroyed as a result of the battles that erupted in the area, the factory receives the iron and recycle it through machines and works from 8 am to 4 pm.

The production capacity of the factory is between 5 to 8 tons per day, of iron manufactured by 8 meters, 12 meters from Perum and the length of 8 meters up to 16 meters, in addition to industrial steel square and simplified also works according to the request of local markets and carpentry workshops specialized in the work of construction and reconstruction.

In terms of economy and material, the factory reduces the prices by not less than 20% of imported iron from abroad, and the factory needs about 40 to 50 workers of technicians and cadre specialized in machinery.

The factory's supervisor, Mustafa Al-Abd, talked about the role of the factory and its importance. He said: "The factory is considered one of the most important in the area. It came at a good time in this period. Most factories of all kinds stopped working or were destroyed and their equipment was stolen.al-Raqqa city witnesses a constructional movement and an increase in the demand for building materials and construction.

And added "We are working in contracting with the public finance in al-Raqqa city to reduce the burden of the seller and the buyer and to secure the iron material for the owners of iron shops and to feed the region in full, with increasing demand for iron and everything related to construction, pointing out that the factory aims to provide job opportunities and return the owners of expertise to their places and take advantage of their potential

Mustafa al-Mousa said: "It is planned to increase workshops in factory and the processing of an additional section to increase production to reach more than 8 tons per day."
