Ocalan's analyzes are being realized on ground

The mother Salha Ahmi from Ain Issa district of Girê Spî canton met with the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan in Lebanon in 1991. During her meeting with Ocalan, many discussions took place between them and she says that the leader’s ideas are applied today on the ground.

Salha Ahmi, 58 years old, dreamed of meeting Abdullah Ocalan and realized her dream in 1991, where she has met the leader for five consecutive days.

There have been many discussions between us and Ocalan, these discussions focused on women's freedom and struggle for their liberation from the masculine mentality and reaching to a free society led by women."

Salha pointed out that the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan was focusing on the principle of the peoples’ fraternity and co-existence and removing the differences planted by the capitalist systems among the components.

Salha said, "I asked the leader of the Kurdish people to join the ranks of the Liberation Movement, but he refused and urged me to pay attention to my five children and raise them far from authoritarianism.”

She added, "With Rojava Revolution on 19, 2012, my five children joined the revolution against injustice and participated in defeating terrorism."

At the end of her speech, Salha Ahmi called on all human rights organizations and the international community to put pressure on the Turkish state to end the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and release him.
