Afrin Yazidis: We to continue resisting, return to Afrin

The people of Afrin have been resisting for more than seven months in the second phase of the Resistance of the Age. The people have encountered the difficulties of summer in the camps and semi-destroyed houses. Now, they say that they will face winter difficulties and they will return to Afrin.

The Yazidi people of Afrin spoke to ANHA and confirmed that their goal was to return to Afrin after the occupiers would be expelled from it.

The citizen Asaad Marco said that the Turkish attack aimed to strike the co-existence and that now, they live in al-Shahba canton together and added, "More or less, a large number of countries in the world are participating in the attack on us, but they will not be able to break our will."

He added, “They flew over us, bombed and destroyed our homes. This brutality made us displacing to al-Shahba forcibly, but we are here resisting and we will return to Afrin."

While the citizen Ali Aisso pointed out that they do not want help from anyone, and he continued, "We will withstand all the difficulties to return to Afrin. Every day, the violations in Afrin, especially against the Yazidi people increase. They impose the Islamic religion on them, torture them and kidnap them in order to gain money. They uprooted olive trees, where is humanity?

He concluded, "We are resisting all attacks and difficulties. This resistance will not stop. We will return to Afrin."
